Living God's Covenant: Exploring the Issues
When we open space for each other
A large number of stories of the creative use of church buildings can be accessed on the Church of England web site – but while most of these provide multi-purpose use from which the local community can benefit greatly, how effective are they likely to be as ‘prayed in spaces’ – sacred space where people might find sanctuary?
However, opening space for each other (and for others) is not just about buildings and cafes; it’s about the commitments we can make jointly to the spiritual, mental and physical well-being of people in our wider communities.
Share your stories – good practice and bad – and your reflections on how good we are at opening up sacred space for the people who need it.
But be sure to tell us how we can all overcome the problems!
