Agricultural Chaplaincy:
Lincolnshire

Alan RobsonFor some years the churches in the Lincoln and Grimsby Methodist District have paid a special assessment to finance the appointment of the Revd Canon Alan Robson to be Agricultural Chaplain on behalf of all Lincolnshire's Churches.

Alan is a Methodist minister, but was recently made an honorary Canon of Lincoln Cathedral. He works alongside Terry Miller, the Churches' Rural Officer, whose post is financed by the Lincoln Diocese.

Keith Ineson

 

Keith Ineson was, for a number of years, the Salvation Army's only full time Agricultural Chaplain.  Recently, the sponsorship of Keith's ministry in Cheshire has been taken over by Churches Together in Cheshire - with Anglicans and Methodists as full partners.

Town and City Centre Chaplaincy:
Fareham

June HayeIn Fareham (Hampshire), covenant relationships between all the local Churches have enabled them to appoint a chaplain to the town centre.

June Haye was appointed in April 2005. She is a member of the Association of Christian Counsellors. She is the General Manager of The Well, the Christian Coffee and Book Shop in Fareham.

In Weston-Super-Mare, the deanery and the circuit have developed an exciting joint initiative which the local newspaper has christened the 'High Street God Squad' - voluntter chaplains available for shoppers, retailers and visitors.
